Made for real work
A capable free online whiteboard
Use the infinite canvas for rough sketches, software diagrams, user flows, workshop notes and visual planning. The editor includes freehand drawing, rectangles, ellipses, diamonds, lines, arrows, text, sticky notes and local image placement. Select, move, resize, duplicate and delete objects; pan and zoom around larger boards; and recover changes with undo and redo.
Keyboard shortcuts keep frequent actions quick: use V to select, H to pan, D to draw, R for rectangles, A for arrows and T for text. Hold the space bar while dragging to move around the canvas.
Storage explained
What “save locally” means
Autosave is optional. When enabled, the board is written to IndexedDB inside the browser profile currently in use. It is not uploaded to 4g3n7, synced to an account or copied into our analytics. Turning autosave off removes that saved local copy and leaves the current session open.
Browser storage is convenient, but it is not a permanent backup. Clearing site data, resetting the browser profile, using a private window or moving to another browser or device can make the board unavailable. Download a JSON backup for important work and import that file later to continue editing.
Take it with you
Export editable and presentation-ready files
A JSON backup preserves the editable board document, including locally placed images. PNG export creates a clean image for documents and messages, while SVG export keeps lines and shapes crisp at any size. Exports are generated by your browser and downloaded directly to your device.
Because images are embedded in editable backups, large image-heavy boards can use a meaningful amount of browser storage. The editor limits individual imported images to 12 MB to keep everyday boards responsive.
Privacy boundary
No board contents in analytics
4g3n7 may count an ordinary page view using its minimal first-party measurement, as described in the privacy policy. The board’s text, drawings, images, filenames, selection history and saved document are excluded. There is no session replay, third-party whiteboard service or collaboration server behind this tool.
This local-first design is intended for individual work. It does not currently provide real-time multiplayer editing, cloud sync or shared board links.
